Description
The French manufacturer Sammode, known for its iconic round tubular lights, is breaking new ground in its design language without forgetting its tradition. Together with designer and architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Sammode developed the QUADRATUBE series, a collection of wall and pendant lights with a rectangular shape and excellently crafted components down to the last detail. The design takes up the typical elongated shape with the glass-encased light source of Sammode lights.
Despite its technical appearance, the QUADRATUBE P1 pendant light exudes classic elegance. The rectangular body made of transparent PMMA is available in two lengths. Inside the body, the pendant luminaire has a cover made of black (RAL 9005) painted steel perforated with small openings, which frames the dimmable and very durable LED module from above. On the underside, anodised aluminium slats also ensure pleasant light diffusion. The slats are available in the colours silver, gold (champagne), copper and blue (petrol).
The pendant light can be dimmed using a Casambi-compatible touch dimmer or wirelessly via smartphone using Bluetooth.
The manufacturer offers an 8-year guarantee.

Since 1927, the French family-owned company Sammode has gained a strong reputation as a specialist for technical lighting made for extreme environmental conditions. Sammode lights can be found at a steelwork’s rolling mill or on an icebreaker’s bridge as well as in pharmaceutical laboratories. For some years now the iconic hermetically sealed tubular lights have also been adapted for interior use under the label SAMMODE STUDIO. Which is why they can now be found in jazz clubs, mansions, restaurants, boutiques and wine cellars as well. These interior lamps lamps match the functional standard of Sammode in terms of design and quality. Thanks to their authentic appearance and beautiful lighting effect they serve as a universally applicable eye-catcher in modern and classic environments alike. Following the success of the Studio Edition, new collections were created in which chosen designers reinterpret the legendary Sammode lights.
Fabriqué en France: Like all Sammode products, these lights are still being produced with pride and care at the Sammode workshop in Châtillon-sur-Saône (Vosges). The manufacturer provides a five-year warranty.
