Glass Globe Pendant Lights
Take a look at our vast collectioin of glass globe pendant lamps from various European manufactories. The glass sphere is usually blown by mouth in traditional technique. We carry glass ball pendants with opal glass shades ("white" glass for rather warm and soft light) or clear glass spheres. There are also "smoked" glass ball lamps too, which feature a grayish coloured glass.
The glass ball usually is mounted with a "monk's cap" or by screws (if the glass ball has a collar) to the fixture, hanging by the cable, on chains or steel wires, or on a fixed tube.
Glass Globe Pendant Lights are especially well suited for subtle basic lighting (we recommend opal glass ball lights, which dissipate the light in a comfortable and glare-free manner). Ball lights with larger diameters and pendant lamps with groups or cascades of glass balls also are a stylish eye-catcher and are well suited for rooms with high ceilings and staircases.
